In July 2009, went on a 2 nights 3 days trip to Sg Lembing, Kuantan to see the famed rainbow waterfalls and the sunrise on Bukit Lembing top. The rainbow waterfalls was located on top of mountain or should i say hill? Anyway – it was a hard rocky climb up with huge boulders, trees and various bushes and plants along the way. We had a good and “hamsap” guide cum driver who took us there in his 4WD. For me the fun part was during the ride to the base of hill. This hamsap uncle took us for a roller coaster ride! He purposelly drove into ditches and overhanging branches of tress to let us feel the full force of nature! Man…this roller coaster ride is a sure stress buster!

QiQi and the gang
Had a most delightful 2 day 1 night trip to Telok Batik, Lumut (6-7 Jun 2009). 3 buses of people went along and had a splashing time making merry and enjoying themselves to the hilt.
Being away from work makes everyone relaxed and fun! Everyone was all smiles! We shld do this more often. Good for the morale!
Many many pics were taken… in my collection, i now have some 700 pics collected from various digital cameras and handphones.

The telematches were fun and man…. the spirit of Green Team was strong and unwavering – unfortunately – the flesh were not so up to it. But nevertheless, the Green team came away the winner in the sponge and water telematch. In the tug-o-war……well………them cheerleaders were damn good but the other team was also damn good. anyway – it was good fun and everyone was a winner. Many folks came away with bruises and pulled muscles…. told you, them folks were mighty enthusiastic!

Coming back..we had a minor mishap. The fan belt in one of them buses decided to break free and fly off ! So juggle, juggle and soe folks were loaded onto the other bus while the other folks waited with full “sabar” for the repair to be done. The driver cum mechanic managed to get the bus up and running in abt an hour. Then he turned around and asked…hey? where’s the rest of the passengers? man, he was so engrossed in repairing -he did not noticed we ferried off half his passengers to another bus! hahhahaa…..
ah.... many hands make light work
But all ends well- maybe the last 2 buses came home bit late but man… them kids had a roaring time blasting the microphone and deafening the rest of the passengers.

Last Sat was Wesak day and QiQi, Julia and me went to the Golden Dragon Temple in Sg Choh. As we went after half day work, the crowds have thinned out and we had a nice and unhurried visit.
I remembered to take the yellow strings for my fave kids in Batu Pahat. Then we took turns tying the strings on each other’s hand. I said put on the right hand lor cos normally left hand does the “dirty work”. hahhaaa……
The girls also bought some japanese seaweeds for their mums – something about good for health, calcium blah blah……. me, i bought a talisman string to replace the gold chain i was wearing as too many people have cautioned me to take it off. Anyway – taking the chain off, somehow makes me feel lighter! hmm….. must be something to about letting go of our worldly stuff…need to talk more with my “little bee” – she’s young but she sure is still water that runs deep!
The temple is expanding and construction is taking place. Few years ago from this angle, on a clear night, one could see the lights of Genting Highlands Resort.

Then feeling a bit hungry, we hopped off to Serendah for some genuine Thai food…. cooked by couple of Thai woman. Genuine Thais alright cos the last time Rinyaphat from Bangkok was here, i also took her there and she’s also liked the food! They also spoke in Thai!
Julia ordered somtham chicken feet, tom yam soup must la, then also fried kangkung. The somtham was *&^%$ spicy and pedas – the lips and tongue burning type! phew……………. The tom yam soup had plenty ingredients. Tambah 100 plus! on fire! on fire!

Today, the HR gang plus dear QiQi gathered for a makan bersama. After the long and winding @#$%@ morning part of the day, it was a relief to be able to sit down, relax and talk about things that make everyone roared their heads off!
Oh yeah, we had a new member today, Rainie who just joined the HR gang this week. Welcome aboard Rainie. Hope our antics does not scare you away! Deep down, all of us are nice people la….though not all may agree with me. Well…… life is good and life is a choice. And always be happy……..

Come to think of it, the bloody headache from this @#$%!&^@% morning is gone after the huge laughs and din we made in Mom’s. Hope they let us in again next time… oh oh…..

Kids grow up so fast. In the blink of an eye, Anjanette is going to get her IC in Sept, Jourdan is already in Std 2 and even Chloee is now in pre-kindergarten. Can still recall vividly like it was just yesterday, i accompanied Anjanette and the Jourdan on their first day in pre-kindergarten! I miss this part of life with Chloee. She looked so winsome and cute in her school uniform with her hair tied up nicely.
aw…. really miss being there with them seeing them grow up….. Happy birthday Jourdan.
I miss the sleepovers, the pyjama parties, the pillow fights for who gets to sleep in the middle……..
